Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has urged the Congress to name all its leaders who allegedly protected those behind the 2015 Guru Granth Sahib sacrilege incidents. His demand comes after Congress leaders Pargat Singh and former Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa publicly admitted that the party had politicized the issue for electoral gains.

Sukhbir said both the leaders and the Congress must now come clean and explain why they played politics over such a sensitive religious matter. He also accused the AAP government of failing to deliver justice, even after being in power for over three years.

“Randhawa himself admitted that no one is willing to take these cases to their logical end,” Sukhbir said, holding both the previous Congress and current AAP governments accountable for inaction.
