Several individuals have been expressing their demands and leads for supplies on social media amid an unusual scarcity of oxygen cylinders and an increase in the number of coronavirus infections in India.
People from all around the nation have been depending on Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp to save the lives of their loved ones due to a scarcity of ICU beds and oxygen cylinders.
While the internet has been flooded with words of grit, there are many who refuse to let the situation get to their heads.
A lady from Delhi turned to Twitter to report that her friend’s sister was approached for sex in exchange for an oxygen cylinder in a startling event that came to light.
“My friend’s sister was solicited by a neighbour in an upscale neighbourhood to sleep with him for an oxygen cylinder that she sorely needed for her father,” a Delhi-based Twitter user said.
Meanwhile, social media users voiced their fury and encouraged the lady to file a complaint against the defendant.
Some users, on the other hand, advised filing a complaint with the local Resident Welfare Association (RWA). Then there were some who identified and humiliated the suspect.
A medical coordinator reportedly attempted to molest the lady and sought sexual favours from her in a similar incident that occurred on April 14.
