Karenjeet Kaur Bains exemplifies the values held by the Sikh community by demonstrating her courage and serving as an inspiration to other women.

Karenjeet Kaur became the first British-Sikh woman to compete in powerlifting for Great Britain. But she is also adamant about utilizing the middle name Kaur, which is an evident nod to her Indian origin.

KARENJEET KAUR BAINS LIFESTLYE

Karenjeet Kaur was born on July 23, 1996, in Warwickshire, England, and currently resides there with her parents and older siblings. It was at the age of 17 that he decided to attempt powerlifting for the first time.

Before becoming Karenjeet Kaur Bains, Se was the undisputed amateur powerlifting champion, but his raw strength astonished everyone.




At the 2019 Commonwealth Championships in Glasgow, she became the first woman to represent Great Britain in the 63 kg division. She also finished in the top 10 at the World and European Championships.

The best things in life are not simple to find, but Kaur’s family, notably her father and tutor, Kuldeep Singh Bains, accompanied her throughout this trip.
