CM Mann says Goldy Brar’s imprisonment will stop Punjab’s gangster culture

The shooting of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala in May was admittedly carried out by Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar Brar, who was stationed in Canada.

On Friday, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, confirmed that Canadian-based gangster Goldy Brar, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the assassination of singer-politician Sidhu Moosewala, has been arrested in the state of California in the United States. Moosewala was killed in a political assassination.

“This morning, there is a piece of news that has been verified. As the Head of State, I am obligated to inform you that a major criminal named Goldy Brar, who was last seen in Canada, has been arrested in the United States “Mann said this while speaking at a news conference in Ahmedabad, which is located in Gujarat.

This culture of gangsters in Punjab will eventually go out. Because they are located outside of the nation, we must go across the channel. Recently, we were successful in having Interpol issue a red-corner alert on Goly Brar by going via the home ministry. We now know that he has been taken into custody, and we expect that he will be sent to India very shortly. He is responsible for many high-profile murders, and the law will bring the most severe penalty possible against him,” the official said.

After a request was submitted by the Punjab Police to Interpol via the Central Bureau of Investigation in June, red-corner alerts were sent by Interpol against Goldy Brar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang (CBI). The worldwide warrant makes it possible for any of the 194 member nations to locate and apprehend a suspect anywhere in the world.

Earlier this week, it was revealed by HT that Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, who claimed responsibility for the assassination of Moose Wala in May was found to have been caught in California. According to persons who are acquainted with the incident, Indian government authorities have not yet received confirmation regarding the imprisonment and are attempting to collect facts about it at this time.

According to the official, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) would make contact with the authorities in the United States via formal channels to get further information and determine whether or not Brar’s deportation straight to India might be pursued.
