Safidon (Jind) – A shocking incident took place on Thursday night in Safidon town, where Vikas Sharma, son of BJP leader Shiv Kumar Sharma and owner of a private hospital, was brutally stabbed to death.

According to police, Vikas was taken from his hospital by Anil Sharma and another person named Happy. While returning from Assandh around 10 PM, their car was intercepted on Rampura road by two other vehicles. When Vikas asked them to move, a group of 7-8 armed men attacked him with knives.

Vikas, who was married just 1.5 years ago and is the father of a five-month-old baby girl, succumbed to his injuries. A murder case has been registered on the complaint of his father. BJP MLA Ramkumar Gautam visited the grieving family. Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify the attackers.
